Thank you for your help "When the doctor told us, 'the next time your son eats a walnut, he could die,' I thought I was having a nightmare. I looked at my little angel, who had just turned 5 the day before, and thought, he is never going to see his sixth birthday, his graduation from kindergarten, or his high school graduation. He'll never go to college, get married, or have his own kids. I wanted to put him in a bubble and never let him out of my sight.
"When I contacted The Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN), you were so kind and caring, and you understood exactly what we were going through. It was not until that point that we got a grasp on the reality that we could handle this challenge. Through the educational materials and support of FAAN, we were able to let our son lead a normal life."
"Now he is 19 years old, in his second year of college, and is pursuing his dreams. I cannot express how much we appreciate all that the entire FAAN team has done for us and the other families challenged with food allergies."
